1. What this site is for

EDOO is an ODM/OEM manufacturer of barcode scanners, 2D scan engines, rugged PDAs, UHF RFID readers and related IoT devices. This website exists to describe those capabilities and to let business buyers request quotations. It is a business-to-business site; it is not a shop and no order is placed or accepted through it.

2. No contract is formed by the website

Prices, lead times, MOQ figures, images and specification tables shown on product pages are indicative marketing information. They are not an offer, and they are not a quotation. A binding commercial relationship exists only from the moment both parties sign a proforma invoice, purchase order or supply agreement that states the model, the configuration, the quantities, the price, the delivery terms and the applicable standards.

Where a figure on a product page differs from the figure in a signed quotation, sample test report, or the certification documents supplied with the goods, the signed and tested documents govern. This matters in particular for protection ratings (IP), operating and storage temperature ranges, battery capacity, scan performance and radio certifications, which change between hardware revisions and differ between SKUs of the same family. Ask us for the current datasheet for your exact revision before you rely on a number.

3. Your obligations when using the site

You agree not to:

• submit false or someone else's contact details through an inquiry form, or submit inquiries on behalf of another person without their authority;
• use automated scraping that places an unreasonable load on the server, or attempt to access administrative areas, databases or interfaces that are not public;
• copy, mirror, frame, resell or republish the site's content in a way that suggests your products are ours;
• upload files that contain malware, or files you have no right to transmit;
• interfere with the site's analytics, security or availability.

We may limit or block access from an address or account that breaches this section.

4. Intellectual property

The text, photographs, drawings, product renders, videos, datasheet layouts, diagrams and logos on this site are owned by Shenzhen EDOOIOT Technology Co., Ltd. or licensed to it, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

Permitted use without asking: buyers, integrators and resellers may download datasheets and reuse product images and descriptions *for the purpose of evaluating, specifying, or reselling EDOO goods*, provided the material is not altered in a way that misstates the product and EDOO is credited as the source.

Not permitted without written consent: registering EDOO trademarks or deceptively similar names, domains or app names; re-publishing our material as your own manufacture; using our names or images in a way that implies endorsement of a third-party brand; extracting and reselling our content library.

Third-party names, models and marks (for example Honeywell, Zebra, Sunmi or Android) belong to their owners and appear only to describe compatibility or comparison. Their use here is not an endorsement.

5. Certifications and compliance statements

Products are described as CE / FCC / RoHS / ISO9001 conformant or certified as stated per model. A certification belongs to a specific model, revision and test configuration; it does not extend to a custom ODM build unless the custom build has been tested. We supply the certificates and test reports that apply to the goods actually shipped. Nothing on this site certifies a product you have modified.

6. Inquiry data

Information you send us through the site is handled under our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We keep it confidential and use it to answer you. Please do not include confidential information belonging to a third party in an inquiry.

7. Links to and from other sites

Our pages link to social profiles and, occasionally, to component vendors' sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, pricing or privacy practices. Site owners who wish to link to us may do so; site owners who want us to link to them must ask.

8. Disclaimer of warranty

The website and everything on it are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, EDOO gives no warranty that the site is accurate, complete, current or free of interruptions, and no warranty about products inferred from website material rather than from signed documents. Warranties that do apply to goods are the ones written into the contract or proforma invoice for those goods.

9. Limitation of liability

EDOO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profit, lost data or business interruption, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Our aggregate liability for any claim connected with the website is limited to the greater of USD 100 and the amount you have paid us for goods in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for a defective product where statutory producer liability applies and the contract for those goods is with us.

10. Indemnity

If you breach these terms, or your use of the site causes a third party to make a claim against us, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses arising from that breach or claim.

11. Term, suspension and changes

These terms apply for as long as you use the site. We may change them; the effective date at the top is revised when we do, and the changed terms apply to use after that date. Continued use is acceptance. We may withdraw or change the site, its pages and its features at any time.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are to be negotiated in good faith first; failing that, they go to the competent court at the seller's place of registration in Shenzhen, unless the contract for the relevant goods chooses another forum, in which case that choice prevails. Nothing here prevents you from invoking mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply where you live.

13. Severability and assignment

If one clause is unenforceable, the rest stay in force. We may assign these terms with the business; you may not without our written consent. Our failure to enforce a clause once is not a waiver.
